This guy sounds like a real dick of a control freak. First he leaves, but he doesn't want to lose control of "his" guild, so he makes an alt the GM and never helps anyone with anything, and when he comes back he just wants the guild back. The guy sounds like a huge ass.

My suggestion is kick him, buy a name change so he can't screw with your guild and badmouth you, and leave it at that.
