Am I the only one on the planet who doesn't like the elder scrolls series simply because of it's combat and view point? I tried, I really tried, but that first person view just makes me feel like I'm playing some sort of really weird wolfenstein game, and the response of the controller just never felt right.Had the same issue with Kotor too. It just felt... blech. I dunno. FPS games are good when there is a gun sticking out in front of you, because it's like you are looking through the reticle of a firearm, and you are always aiming at distance. First person views just make me feel very disjointed in an RPG, or an action RPG. And I haven't even tried Skyrim (I won't because of the reasons stated), but the other issue is the delay in response to button presses. I'm too used to wow, where i press a key and my guy does something, unless that something is on cooldown or gcd. I like that responsiveness, and kotor/elder scrolls/dragon age has some kind of weird delay that really makes me lose the feel of the game.
