It would be interesting, however I doubt I will come back now. Too many things I personally dont like starting to crop up etc etc, and the main reason was it wasnt being fun for me anymore, it was the continual daily grinds that felt like another job that did it for me.
The boxes are the least of my worries in that sense. Personally I feel that the percieved age of the game, with both upfront costs AND subsciptions - and extras if you so choose to buy them, means people think they are buying an old old game for a lot of money thats going to keep sucking the money out of their pocket. In the current economic environment it is not very attractive to prospective buyers. Reducing the upfront cost will help in the fact that people will decide to try it - as it doesnt cost too much to start.
