I should hope they've cranked up DW's spawning. I've got 5 toons at 85, two of which I started after cataclysm, a couple of alts in their 40's made after cataclysm, plus a maxxed out archaeologist, and I have *NEVER* seen him. Not a single time.
Seriously, the only way I've gotten the achievement on any of my toons is watching for guildies to get it and then running to whatever zone they're in.
It seriously NEEDS to be turned up during the last couple of weeks so that people can actually get it. If it weren't for guildies getting roasted, I would honestly be able to say I'd never have known it was in the game (other than seeing outside sites like this one talking about it).

Not sure if DW has been more active or I've been luckier but while leveling my priest I was never rosted until last week... thrice...

I've seen him twice since December, once in March and once last week. My husband has seen him five times in the last week and a half, three in the Western Plaguelands, once in Eastern Plaguelands and once in the Wetlands.

Because some gnomes aren't looking for anything logical, like machines. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some gnomes just want to watch the world burn.
