Sorry to gripe, but I never see any other column besides this one requesting op abilities for an already-op class ._.

Trust me, we're not overpowered in PvE. Far from it. Our DPS capabilities are middle of the road and we have zero raid utility. Rogues may be awesome in PvP, but we're outclassed in literally every way by a feral druid in PvE.

So explain why 2 (possibly 3) of the abilities listed are pvp-related... "Our DPS capabilities are middle of the road and we have zero raid utility." - merits tweaking numbers, not adding pvp-centric abilities

Eli let me explain the reason they are not op is well me and by me i mean the classes i play Death knight Hunter and druid (feral) correct me if im wrong Edymnion, but are those 3 the ones you have the hardest time on?

i will however say they do need some more love, my brother was a rogue and got me playing, so i do know some of the gripes, but most of the issues i see on the forums are never suggestions they come off more as whiny, more flies with honey than vinegar. cousre Dks do that too so i avoid those ones

Eli...1. Every class specific column has its fair share of articles to discuss improvements that players would like to see for that class. 2. OP is matter of perspective. In PvE, rogue dps is very average, at best, and sub spec falls short of average. In PvP, it's just a matter of learning how to deal with that class. As a rogue, and knowing their weaknesses, I don't usually have too much trouble with other rogues. And I'm sure many on this site would agree with me. It's a matter of practice, more than a class being inherently OP. And just so you don't think I'm a total hypocrite, I've been getting my ass kicked in duels by my guild's frost mages, but I'm going to keep at it until I learn to beat them. EVERY class has a weakness, you just have to learn to exploit it.

Sub spec falls short for bad players* ftfyThose of us who aren't terrible can play sub above and beyond par.

@Pikadude...What's your point? That you agree with Eli that rogues are overpowered? Or did you just want to stroke your own ego by saying that every other rogue must be terrible.Yes, we are all aware that sub *can* perform as well as the other rogue specs, but for most of us, it doesn't. For the vast majority of rogues, sub underperforms compared to the other specs. So when you look at the dps trends, it appears lower than the others because there are fewer parses for it. Because it underperforms for even some of the top players in the world.

@Eli I don't know, maybe because the article is about things the author wishes they had, and they like to PvP? All I know for sure is that the damned PvP players are the reason why PvE rogues have so much trouble. Every time we get something thats vaguely useful in a raid, the PvP'ers break it and PvE has to eat the nerf for something that wasn't a problem for them in the first place.I for one would be a much happier raider on my rogue and pretty much all my other toons if Blizz would finally just make the same ability work differently in PvP so they would stop nerfing PvE as collateral damage.
