Personally I think you're tripping looking for those. Rogues already have a great gap closer in Shadowstep and already have Vanish, this is like asking for Gap Closer Mk IV Supreme and Ultimate Vanish.

Need to dial in your ambitions here a little methinks.

No doubt, Shadowstep is great. But it's gonna compete with Burst of Speed (which is a really strong mobility ability) and Preparation. In most PvE scenarios Preparation will be a significant DPS increase (at least in current encounter designs) and for PvP, well, double-CDs is just almost too powerful to give up. And Prep kinda doesn't fit there at all.

So no, it's not actually asking too much.
