Why Grip over Shadowstep?1) To get your target back to where you and the rest of your group can finish them off.2) To get a mob off of healers.3) To make sure your target can't jump down to safety or to his team mates, and at the same time you don't put yourself at risk.Of course DKs don't use DG every time it's up. It's not the point of the ability. It's about the utility. Taunting, while not necessarily something we need could be useful in directing mobs in certain paths. Also, if your tanks take a dive you can still Evasion tank for a few seconds, which could be the difference between a kill and a wipe. Then there's things like the Beth fight, where not having a Taunt makes it slower to get the spiders down.People don't often execute things perfectly. Utility abilities are there to compensate for that. Some kind of Grip ability would fit perfectly for Rogues. However, you can't really compare it to any kind of stun, that just doesn't make any sense.
