We get your football games on our TV's in Canada too, in fact a lot of people get excited about the Super Bowl and what-not.

I love you Mat. I always enjoy catching a vlogcast of you no matter if its here or on GoMatGo, even though I unsubbed from WoW a few months back. Cheers buddy.

The info-comments on the video make this a bit better now, but I'm still hoping for an audio only version to appear in the usual wow-insider itunes stream.

^ yes!!!!
I certainly would not describe this as a "neat little video package." I just press refresh in iTunes and I get the podcast whenever it gets posted. But now I have to use different software to get this??? I would much prefer this to show up with the rest of the podcast and vidcasts.
The vidcasts from gamebreakertv (e.g. the Legendary (WoW), The Republic(TOR), TWIMMO) show up fine in iTunes. If you can get your video to show up in iTunes as well, that would be great. Otherwise, the audio version of this would be greatly preferred.

Indeed, video may seem like the next logical step, but it's not as easy to get this on the go, and I'm not seeing much in the way of benefits yet to counter-balance the drawbacks.

I can understand a preference for audio. Really, I can.
I can understand a preference to see it pop up in itunes if you use it excessively and hardly bother with the website except specific columns.
So Clockw0rk, this comment is not for you, but I feel a need to reply here for the sake of those who replied to you.
Now granted, I've not watched a vidcast on itunes, so I'm not sure how well it looks or how well it works, so maybe I'm missing something.
This video is 5 minutes long. WoW Moviewatch videos tend to be longer. Reading an article on the website tends to take longer. It's youtube, so... flash is the only thing you need? Works in all web browsers that are on non-tablet computers? And I know you have one of those if you play WoW.
Why does anyone feel the need to grab this on the go just because audio can be listened to on the go? It's not long enough to really bother with. It's short. It's to the point. If I have 5 minutes to read an article, I don't really feel chained to watch a video instead as long as it's nicely edited, etc.
If it was longer, then sure. Audio or at least itunes or other grab and go. I'm just saying that coming to the website and clicking play doesn't seem worth getting upset over or going to extra trouble to check itunes when I consider that I listened to this video all the way through again while typing this. It's that short.

Radio is better cause you don't see the person speaking. Nothing against you or the way you look Matt, of course. But, I "grew up" on audio only so I'd like to have that version available still.
Great job as always. And you have a fantastic radio voice... just saying.

Anyone notice Mat looks an awful lot like Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory? Hurray fanboys
Jere Hunter Nov 19th 2011 9:44AM
Gasp, you mean it wasn't :D LOL
(that would be a cool idea for a guest show (as if they had a budget for that :D )

Nice touch with the text. And while I'm sure you know, THANK YOU for not making news like notes and then simply reading said notes. While using Youtube's notes makes it look, I dunno, a little less polished, this just keeps getting better and better and I can't wait to see next week.

Please keep doing these news updates, I love it.

And thus, another podcast I listened to is now dead to me. Farewell weekly update, I'll miss you.

The video thing was super awesome, but please.. please.. PLEASE.. do not change my WoW Insider Show to Video since i can't view them on my Nokia 5800XM, the current MP3 format is great and will allow me to listen to the show on the go.
Thnx...

Video was ok, but please add audio version at bottom.
I prefer listening when I'm on way, and can't watch, and my rss feeded app can't download video version.
