We just had a video last week about Alliance pride, so let's take a look at the other side of the fence today. Forever Forsaken is a tribute video featuring dozens of undead characters. You'll probably recognize some of the names featured in Quixotica's film, and you'll definitely meet a few new Forsaken.
Forever Forsaken is a beautiful, moody video, although it's hard to follow any kind of plot through it all. I'm not sure that matters. Forever Forsaken is so gorgeous to watch that you really focus on images and animation, without much thought for narration. The music does a good job of underscoring the introspective themes while still highlighting little moments of humor.
Ultimately, Forever Forsaken is an impressive piece. Congratulations to Quixotica on another hit.
Interested in the wide world of machinima? We have new movies every weekday here on WoW Moviewatch! Have suggestions for machinima we ought to feature? Toss us an email at moviewatch@wowinsider.com.
There is no plot. I'm confused as to why one would be expected. It just a showcase of Forsaken players, especially ones who have YouTube channels. She first did one for Blood Elf players: http://youtu.be/2ntUlQKXdQ0
Forever Forsaken triumphs. There isn't a person out there I wouldn't reccommend it to. As far as Forsaken machinima goes, it's right up there for me with I Am Forsaken. Even with the lack of story, at moments it does speak a good message. I can respect that.
I now have a problem, do I turn my orc rogue back to undead (got fed up looking at a hunch back in the ICC set) and rob the guild of the tiny little achievement of having the orc rogue...
Once the necessary toons have reached 85 and the race/class has been counted in the achievement, you're free to switch without losing the achievement. That's what was done in my guild.
OOOoo goodie, cheers for the info- appreciate it. Think I'm gonna wait to see what the next tier o gear looks like on a orc and undead. Transmog when needs be (I've made a druid tier 12 set I'm unsure why it looks stupid.)
This is cool and all, but I can't help but feel the characters' names and locations would've been less distracting if given just at the end or in annotations. The snippets are all so short, if you look down to read it (and eventually you train yourself to read that sort of thing) you miss whatever may have been going on up above. Sort of a shame really. Well that and since it started right off the bat at first I thought it was just another super-long protracted opening credits like so many like to do these days.
Always wanted to do a death knight amv to hysteria by muse, but I lack the aptitude (IE patience) to do it, plus with the ability changing it's name to "unholy frenzy" it doesn't seem like anyone would get it, ah well :P.
Awesome video, really dig the various styles. I expect a ton of T5 Locks come 4.3 so i'm looking into alternatives for mine. Can anyone identify what Wowcrendor (the facepalming dude in the preview shot) is wearing? Looks like b/w-ish rogue leather to me...

If you want one with a plot, go watch her Bad Romance series:

Fair warning: turn down your volume first as the music is set too loud IMO.
I enjoy Quixotica's machinimas and appreciate her usage of Muse. :)

So, question: if I'm interested in learning how to work animations using WoW models, is there a good beginner's how to out there?
