The Daily Quest: Room for improvement

WoW Insider's on a Daily Quest to bring you interesting, informative, and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere.
Despite nearly being done with this tier's worth of content, there is always room for improvement -- whether it be beefing up DPS, getting better at dodging bad stuff, or heck, just making gold. Or in the case of Dumass, shown above, there's a lot of room for improvement. I mean ... loads.
Today we've got a few posts from around the blogosphere with suggestions and advice for improving your game.
Is there a story out there we ought to link or a blog we should be following? Just leave us a comment, and you may see it here tomorrow! Be sure to check out our WoW Resources Guide for more WoW-related sites.

Replace all the belf voices with some that are not so damn smug.
wagonga4 Nov 23rd 2011 2:49PM
No, never do that! The female belf voice is the only one that doesn't drive me insane when it laughs. Besides, what's wrong with them being smug?

But you'd still have the flippant female /salute.

I prefer this:
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info18781-MutedSounds-combatonly.html
for the job of getting rid of sounds that aren't boss quotes. Means I don't have to hear CLANG CLANG CLANG WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH HURH HURH HURH.

I loved Dumass. I hope he never changes. Actually, the whole quest-giver thing was just chock full of hilarity.
Blood elves are SUPPOSED to sound arrogant. Look at them.

That list is missing the terrible "HUH HUH" noise that human males in the game make.

My warlock focused blog, Wisdom of the Nether Scrolls, has a couple new posts up regarding the info from the Mists talent calculator and what the new Warlock rotations might look like. Please give it a glance.

Oh for that all-too-brief time when you could camp in the middle of a crowded wintergrasp waiting room, put out a train set, and have some co-conspirators all pull out their Lil' XTs for a cacaphony of
Choo-CHoo!
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!
I THINK I BROKE IT!
Now that's Pro Trolling

Slime/ooze death noises.
Gunshots.
Murlocs (Just hearing them makes my throat constrict. It sounds like they're being strangled.)
Human males aggroing. (The hate only goes away by killing them)
New Goblin males dying (I think they recorded these louder than the others)
Taking swings on my paladin and every single one makes a whoosh sound like I missed even though there's numbers everywhere. I want to hear flesh rending and bones cracking. >:(

New post up at Corath's Blog (http://corath.wordpress.com), all about the new MoP calculator.
Basically, I try to remind people that it's still a work in progress and that they want feedback. Yet, there are some neat changes coming.
