I just want to thank you Alex for writing this, it brings back so many memories and fun places, WoW isn't the same anymore, before you actually explored the new content and it took time to level and you had fun while leveling. Now it's just a race and I dream back to the old good times every day, so much nostalgia.I can't help but add one of my memories of my dad playing (I was young back then and don't remember much). He'd just been escorted down to Elwynn forest as a Night Elf hunter ( level 10 ) and he was training up his hit rating (Yes, you actually had to hit a mob with the desired weapon to train up your hit rating) so that he could go over to Westfall.- Which reminds me of another thing, (I'm being very sentimental, I know) and that is that you actually had to train up skills and not just go herpaderp through all the zones with heirlooms and just instantly level up to 85.. anyways. -and then suddenly we found this strange creature in the south-west corner of the forest, looks like a wolf on 2 legs and a crooked neck. They gave skill AND money! :OSuch a discovery for us when we started playing, and I remember that he farmed them for quite a while.
