The Queue: What does that even mean?

"China is here"? I don't even know what the hell that means.
Glasscannon asked:
Which race has the best 2H weapon animations in your opinion?
Unequivocally, male blood elves.
Mal asked:
How long does the XP boost item from the 7th anniversary last?
It lasts an hour, but the item only has a 10-second cooldown. It'll work all the way through the WoW's two-week seventh anniversary celebration, so click that sucker!
Mal also asked:
Also, do you think Blizzard will add a 'Hide Shoulders' option with transmog coming out?
No. Blizzard is pretty adamant about shoulders being part of the game's visual style. Shoulders are also the only equipment besides weapons and helms to have unique geometry, so it makes sense that Blizzard would want them to be on display whenever possible.
Puntable asked:
After looking at the list that someone made that showed what each class was losing and gaining in MoP, I was very dismayed that my main character is a Disc Priest.
Losing: Renew, Heal, Binding Heal, Divine Hymn, Mind Blast, Devouring Plague, and Atonement.
Gaining: Pushback reduction.
Do you think this is possibly intended, or were the Bizzard proof-readers on vacation when they posted the talent calculator?
Blizzard stated recently that there are missing abilities in the calculator due to bugs. I wouldn't worry about missing abilities too much right now.
crazieanimefan1 asked:
Q for the Q: I'm a lore fanantic, yet I have to wonder something on Malfurion and Tyrande. I know they're married, but I have to wonder why Blizz didn't change Tyrande's last name to "Stormrage" instead of keeping it "Whisperwind".
Night elves probably don't have that custom.

My theory is it's all done by underground tubes.

Naw, those mailboxes are all magical mailboxes. Address your letter, put it in the box and blammo, it zooms off to the closest mailbox to the recipient, zipping from box to box until it's picked up. I can't imagine a mortal mail carrier trying to deliver mail from Azeroth to Outland. Magical mailboxes is the only solution I can think of.
TLDR: A wizard did it.

@Thayer "Address your letter, put it in the box and blammo, it zooms off to the closest mailbox to the recipient, zipping from box to box until it's picked up."
That sounds like ... twisting nethernet.
Oh my :O
StClair Nov 28th 2011 1:40PM
and that, in turn, gives me the image of someone opening their mailbox and being randomly eaten in one bite by a "hitchhiker" from the nether.

Q for the Queue:
Recently, I was doing some heroics with a couple of guildies and we noticed we weren't receiving guild credit upon completion. Have the number of guildies required for credit changed or does Blizz just hate us? =P
Noyou Nov 26th 2011 1:41PM
If by guild credit you mean, guild rep? They could have been capped for the week. If they were recently leveling or doing a lot of dailies, or dungeons, they could have hit the weekly cap.
Noyou Nov 26th 2011 5:22PM
You can only do 7 per week (dungeon/raid/pvp) challenges. You have to have 3 players from the guild that are in level appropriate content. If you hit those requirements and still didn't get credit, I would put in a ticket.
LordMorrolon Nov 26th 2011 6:21PM
Thanks Noyou. Our guild challenges weren't capped yet, I'll put in a ticket then.

Just want to say kudos to The Queue for featuring my favorite 'bad' movie, "Big Trouble In Little China".

What do you think about this idea for a future stam/resi model:
If PvP gear had either stamina OR resilience on it, so you had to choose which one to invest in with each piece of gear?
Dimmak Nov 26th 2011 1:41PM
It's far more likely that Malfurion would change his name to Whisperwind rather than Tyrande. Night Elves are one a Matriachal society and two the Stormrage are basically peasants so the family name doesn't hold much clout.
Yes, I know NE society has changed but remember Mal and Ty are both over 10K years old... damn she looks good for her age!
LordMorrolon Nov 26th 2011 1:52PM
Sorry, let me clarify, we didn't receive credit toward the guild challenges. We did 4 runs and only got credit for 2 of them, which happened to be when there was 4 of us.
LordMorrolon Nov 26th 2011 1:54PM
Major reply fail! What's this I hear about updating the comment system? >.>
This was in reply to Noyou
Ianmis Nov 26th 2011 4:45PM
They seem to have taken a page from Blizz with thier comment system. It will happen soon...ish.
Joseph Smith Nov 27th 2011 12:32PM
Based on what's happened with some of the AOL sites lately, I'd be happy we still have a site to comment on.
Hal Nov 26th 2011 2:33PM
I've been pushing a healer up though the LFD tool, and I must say, it's been a while. Lotta rude, impatient people out there.
That said, what's the consensus on etiquette when rolling need/greed for lockboxes and BoE greens? Is it a factor if you're leveling an enchanter?
Kumie Nov 26th 2011 2:58PM
You dont roll need unless you are going to equip or learn it right there. If you can do so in a few levels or skillups, then you might be able to slide. Drives me nuts when people need stuff for alts or professions as if nobody else in the party could make use in the same way or make gold off it.
The worst part is when people need on mats (like righteous orbs in strat). Thats money you are stealing from the group for no immediate use.
The exception comes at higher levels with chaos orbs. When they become boe, they should become greed only, but crafters will be so used to needing that you should need them as well if you are looking to have some gear crafted.
Killik Nov 27th 2011 4:26AM
The etiquette with guildies is to roll greed on these things, but for PuGs it varies by server. If in doubt, don't be the first to roll - some servers the rule is everyone rolls need, and they won't have a problem with you doing similar.

OMG…!!!
MAD bonus points for featuring the greatest american Kung-Fu movie EH-VAR in the header…!!!
Big trouble In Little China is THE BOMB…!!!
(Yeah, I like it…)
You people sit tight, hold the fort & keep the home fires burning. And if we're not back by dawn, call the President.
When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail."
AWESOME…!
Well, now I guess I will actually go and read the latest Queue…
Huh…? What's that…? A question…? Oh, yeah, sure…
Q for the Q - Will blizz ever let me get another FULL set of Blackened Defias Leather for xmog purposes, or what…?!?
THX…!
MisterRik Nov 26th 2011 3:07PM
Isn't the gray-quality "Moldy Leather" armor you can find in Outland the same as the Blackened Defias stuff? I managed to find my rogue a full set of that stuff.
