Another ret paladin here. My take on this is that the 5% increase to 2H Weapon Spec, the Blessing of Might etc. % AP bonus to melee buff, as well as the Censure-judgment damage buff will in fact more than compensate the loss of critical hits from Hammer of Wrath. Will be a buff to overall damage, but a nerf to burst.

I'm still waiting to see how the numbers crunch out in reality post-patch, but at the moment, I'm pretty much certain this is a buff.

No more insta death hammer spam in PvP, though. Baw.

But on the plus side, I might be able to regularly and sustainably top DPS charts now, RNG permitting of course.
