Welcome to the way patch trailers have been done for the majority of the game. We didn't need fancy VO or snazzy uniquely animated stuff. We got in game footage of the new raids, dungeons or events and we ate it up.

Of course, this was also before they relased raids on the PTRs and the first tim you saw stuff was likely to be when it was released on Live, so it was all new and shiny.
