Now I'm not completely new to raiding, but I didn't set foot in anything past the first few bosses in BWD/BOT and nothing in firelands, with no gear from any of those things, and I had nearly enough ilvls to get in. Heck, I didn't even have all the valor point gear from last tier. I still got a high enough ilvl after running the new dungeons through once and equipping the quest rewards and a few drops.
