I'm one of the people who is extremely saddened by the inability to transmorg the level 60 pvp gear. I played during that time, and I pvp'd a lot, but I was never very good, didn't have a group, and the title of GM was extremely sought after. The highest I ever got was Knight-Leutenant, and even than I had to work extremely hard to get it.
The day that they changed it so we didn't require the titles any more, I think I pvp'd day in and day out pulling 12-16 hour days just so I could collect all of the GM Gear - it was by far my all time favorite, especially being a warrior. It was unfortunate that I could only wear it for such a short period of time while it was still "relevant", but I loved that opportunity none the less.
When I heard about transmogrification just a short month ago, that was most certainty my call to jump back in the game after a very long hiatus. I got to level 85, polished off the old GM gear, and eagerly waited for the chance to wear it once more in battlegrounds. Yet, 2 days ago I discovered that every thing I wanted, the sole reason I really came back to the game, was something unachievable. Not sure what I'm going to do now, but I certainly am a lot less excited about playing!
At least though, I can still use my Dragonstrike!
