Conquest points
Conquest points you've earned from Random Battlegrounds after the 4.3 patch was applied shouldn't be going anywhere.
BGs and cross-realm Real ID groups
Correct! Cross-realm Real-ID parties can queue for battlegrounds.

A few reminders about this --
You're going to see the limitations as you do in Looking-For-Dungeon and Looking-For-Raid.
You can't invite Real-ID friends to a raid.
If you have Real-ID friends in your group, you can't convert to a raid.

Can cross-realm Real ID friends talk to each other?

Yes. A friend of mine from a former job is Alliance side on a PVE server, while I'm Horde side on a PVP server. If we can have a conversation in WoW via Real ID, I can't imagine any combination that wouldn't work. =-}

Have a conversation, link items, queue together for dungeons, BG's, LFR (Only in party, not raid).
Its pretty close to mirroring if they were a friend on your server :)

I want them to enable cross realm Real ID raids. That way I can help my friends on other realms when they need a tank. Maybe someday.
