Oh look, another moment of actual characterization (and motivation; shocking!) for Deathwing outside of the game! -__-
Also I really feel this should've been released a bit before the patch (and actually announced on worldofwarcraft.com; or maybe it was and I just missed it?) so the ending cinematic would've been a bit less of a shocker. Plus it just would've been a good lead-up to the patch, rather than being concurrent with it.
