3 possibilities:

1. Old gods are alien and truly "not of this world" (ie not from azeroth).

2. Deathwing is lying.

3. Deathwing is telling the truth, but the old gods are lying to him.

When it comes to old gods, lies seem to be the norm, so count me in for 2 and/or 3 on this list.

"So do you think this helps answer the question if the old gods were on Azeroth from the start or if they showed up and took over for some of the same reasons that the titans are so interested in Azeroth?"

Basically I think this helps answer that question about as much as throwing mud helps clean a muddy windshield.
