Questing in Hillsbrad/Ashenvale, seeing Southshore/Astranaar under attack!, then getting our my mains for the upcoming epic fight between towns. I still get mad when I realize I cant fly to Southshore anymore and those awesome fights are forever gone.

Stepping into the purply quiet snowiness of Winterspring.

Continent hopping to follow the Linken quest line, or hatching a fairy dragon egg.

Walking a hundred miles uphill in the snow as Alliance to get to all the dungeons that are in horde territory with no mount, and lots of horde players stalking around.

And trying to get the Carrot on a Stick for all of my alts.

Yeah, these days most people just follow the efficient on rails quests to race to 85. I cant ask to bring back the good old days because I know that wouldnt work. Theyre best kept as awesome memories of a once great game.
