Ah, seconded. The zombie event was great fun. There was a resistance in the Stormwind Trade District Inn on my server at the time, with a massive wall of rotting flesh infesting the entire district outside. A large group of players (myself among them) holed up in the inn and defended it from the zombies, making occasional pushes out. At one point we cleared a good chunk of the district before being forced to fall back.

Got hate messages from the zombies for "ruining their fun", too. Cleansing Totem + Frost Shock was a pretty good counter to them.

To be honest, I kind of wish Blizzard would put up a couple Zombie Servers and allow character copies to them, even if just as a temporary event thing. I can see why it's not viable from a technical standpoint, but it would be TONS of fun.

Thirded. I was just starting a new character and was just level 19 and couldn't do anything. I want to do it again now that I have a good-geared max level character.:(
