I can understand why they wouldn't want the Illusions (and trio) to give rep (as I can assume from reading, you could kill Illusions or one/two of the trio, get some rep, wipe, and repeat infinitely for one lockout until fully Exalted) -- but Sekram *himself* no longer gives rep? And no reputation when the trio as a collective whole is slain? Curious.

They should still drop a http://www.wowhead.com/item=21229 which can be turned in for rep.

All the other bosses also drop the rep marks. Point being reputation is being impacted for normal people who would otherwise be getting their reputation at the regular, anticipated pace because of a couple bad apples abusing bugs to max out their rep far faster than normal. It's not the first time such a rep nerf happened and it won't be the last. My main concern was with why the nerf wasn't handled differently -- sure, the Illusions, but why the boss himself? Why was it necessary to remove rep from him as well? This is what I find curious.

Wasn't those bosses giving reputation a bug that needed fixing? If memory serves, they didn't give rep when grinding AQ rep back in 4.1. The reputation came from trash mobs and from the hand-in items dropped by bosses.

I'm rather surprised by this all as well.
Isn't AQ 'obsolete' like hell?
They nerfed the living beejeevus out of Argent Dawn, Timbermaw, Thorium Brotherhood and Wintersaber Trainers Reputation, but 'oh noes, AQ gives a bit more Rep, holy hotfix Batman!'.
I know WoW is run by a bunch of Horde-loving Raid obsessives but come on...

The fastest way to get rep is to never kill any bosses at all. Just run in and kill the 10 or 11 trash before the first boss, run out and reset. at 110 rep per kill that's over 1000 rep per run. True, you get locked out after 5 runs and have to wait an hour but it's still better than waiting a whole week to do the run again. I went from a little over halfway through hated to neutral this way in a day. I just needed neutral to get the shoulders so it might actually make your eyes bleed if you were trying to get exalted.

@Tili: you cannot get ding honored that way, let alone hit exalted. the best way to hit exalted is to just run the raid every week, and save up all your rep tokens until trash no longer gives rep, then run it 1-2 more times.
no eye-bleeding necessary. but yes, you will need 3-4 people for twins/c'thun. It's really easy to find people for that tho.

@gewalt You could do it with 2, if both sides were good at surviving. It's tricky but doable.
