How many of those 2 million are going to play the game live? I doubt that I will because of money, but I wouldn't be surprised if it numbered in at least the thousands. I hope and expect TOR to do well, but we can't take this data at face value.

Well at least a few million will be playing for the first month since that's about what the pre-order total is. It's over 900,000 in the US alone, and not everyone who pre-ordered was in beta.

Actually Kaphik is only partially correct. It's over 900,000 PHYSICAL pre-orders in the US. That doesn't include the world wide digital version or physical box sales in other parts of the world.

Estimates for total pre-orders are somewhere around 1.5-2 million range including the digital pre-sales.

I played for both the weekends and to be honest I moved from wanting to play SWTOR over other MMO's to I think I will wait a while until they get through the initial launch and see how things pan out. I just cannot justify the money. I had higher hopes, and still do, so will keep watching.
