No, it's out of the 2 million people who tested SWTOR over the whole beta, 750,000 of those played on Thanksgiving weekend (which was their stress test).

I was one of those 750,000, and although I share some of your complaints (especially the "painted human" races), I'm still in on the preorder. Playing alongside my brother was too much fun, especially since he was playing a righteous trooper and I was playing a snark asshole of a smuggler.
