I've never been caught by the eyes, but also never been in a group where someone hasn't been caught. Mainly because the tank purposely gets caught in order to force the battle onwards, but once because a Rogue treated them as adds and attacked them.

As a Hunter, I could probably fix myself a sandwich before they get a chance of catching me. Nyuk, nyuk.
