That is not the case. All Alex pointed out was that Varian could use a friend that's level headed to help him cool off. You, know a friend that, when you're angry and you're about to do something you'll regret, stops you and holds you back and tells you to calm down? It just so happens that Jaina is the closest thing to that as of right now. She also happens to be a woman. Does it have to be her? No, of course not. Could it be someone else? Yeah. Could it be a guy? Sure! You're taking this way out of proportion.
