Okay my comment may or may not be seen. But to Alex I do agree with one point for sure, and that it's Varian needs a counter part to help him out. SPOILERS for Wolfheart (and Shattering possible) happening now. Anduin his son is one of those people, he balanced his rage out and got him to calm down at the worst times. Then he lost anduin cause of the light and his own anger. Then he learns to control that anger and use it when and where he needs to. And he is not eh embodiment of Lo'Gosh, that's just the name the orc's would use for their wolf deity. He's the champion of Goldrin, you know the wolf deity we revive in Hyjal. Now of course not everyone has read this and probably won't but that should help with most of Varian's problems right there, he's Alliance through and through. The best Ali. Thrall you can hope for,
