I started after a friend convinced me, also. I'd researched classes online, knowing that I wanted to heal, and the druid sounded like an awesome healer to me. He also told me that I should name my character the same way he did: his last name backwards, so we'd have that in common or something... Anyway, I loved my druid and raided ICC with him (long after my friend had stopped playing, go figure). Sadly, he's been demoted to an alt since I leveled my priest, and been renamed after a server and faction transfer.
