Also, I was under the impression that the damage debuff he gets hit with stays up for a long time and stacks as you continue to hit him with the ball. Is that only on RF?

Nope, it sticks around! It's a 2-minute debuff so if you follow the 5-bounce suggestion, the stacks will keep on growing. He got fairly high on our kill this week, but WoL does not seem to show those stacks. :/

I've never SEEN him cast Psychic Drain though. It has a cast time? That would be very helpful! It does not seem to have a cast bar. Can anyone confirm/deny?

No, it doesn't have a cast time, but there is a timer for it. The first one is usually very soon after the void spawns. I normally start spinning the boss around as he's still channelling the void, and when i get him facing the right way, I click my TB trinket and he does the drain.
