Our guild -- also "casual" (currently 4/8 in DS ... downed normal rag after nerfs) -- did 5 bounces on the first one and then 3 bounces and the next 3. You shouldn't go any more than 4 black phases (we killed him right after the 4th).

It can and should be 1-tanked ... why were you using 2 tanks on 10m, hairy? To help with healing after Psychic Drain?

Our makeup:

1 Tank (pally)
4 in melee group (druid, 2 DKs, paladin healer on tank heals)
4 in ranged group (mage, 2 hunters, druid on raid heals)
1 healer (shaman) of to the side to reach both groups to flex heal and focus on dispels

We rotated CDs for the black phase:

1st -- Tranq
2nd -- Spirit Link Totem (feral druid tranq at the end of phase)
3rd -- ToL and Pally Heal CDs
4th -- Tranq and SLT were both back up

we might have one tanked it- I'll have to check with the rest of the guild to make sure (it was late, and I'd been up for 18 hours working a train, so my memory could very well be off on the details)

but we did do 3 bounces every time and downed it after several tries (think it took us 5 tries)
