The Queue: Kickball

I helped a friend celebrate the end of his kickball season tonight. He's 29.
Thundrcrackr asked:
How is Dragon Soul split up for the raid finder? Which bosses and in which order? I haven't had a chance to run it myself yet and haven't been able to find this info on wowhead yet.
It's split right down the middle. Siege of Wyrmrest includes Morchok, Zon'ozz, Yor'sahj, and Hagara. Fall of Deathwing includes Ultraxion, Warmaster Blackhorn, Spine of Deathwing, and Madness of Deathwing.
Bragaulicious asked:
All the talk regarding the Paragon cheat has me confused b/c there is talking about receiving loot from a boss more than once per lockout.
As I understood it, it doesn't matter if I receive loot or not. I'm only eligible for loot on the first kill, is that correct? For example, on that first LFR kill all that drops is intel gear and I can't roll on any of it. I'm still ineligible for loot for the remainder of the raid lockout.
Otherwise, if I don't get loot that first time, can I queue up again and still be eligible?
You're correct in that you only get to see loot once per boss per week. Paragon (and other guilds) were exploiting a Raid Finder bug that allowed them to receive loot more than once per week per boss.
Gen Man asked:
I have four 85's and have yet to even attempt any of the Cataclysm dungeons (I know, shame on me). Are they easy to just hop into or should I be doing extensive research first? I don't want to drag a group down by being a dead space chicken.
Normal Cataclysm dungeons are quite easy, especially with the advent of Dungeon Journal. You'll be fine.
alex-rogers asked:
What are the names of the big mouths that are around Wyrmrest Temple which we fight Warlord Zon'ozz and Yor'sahj the Unsleeping and Kill in Twilight High lands?
The ones around Wyrmrest are named Shu'ma and Go'rath, two names that should be awfully familiar to anyone playing Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

Mizzou? Kickball? How did I miss this?
Jaygath Dec 10th 2011 12:08PM
If you can kick a wrench, you can kick a ball.
Wait that's not right...
RS Dec 10th 2011 12:22PM
I would think though that it would still apply.
RndySasqatch Dec 10th 2011 12:46PM
ROFL, this one made my day. Thanks.
Noyou Dec 10th 2011 6:21PM
Please don't kick the wench. She works hard for her money. Oh, WRENCH. I got it now.

Is Deathwing still torching zones even though guilds are killing him? I've had terrible luck this whole expansion getting him to barbecue my dwarven self but all my alts have the achievement.
Loronar Dec 10th 2011 12:21PM
You can still get the achievement by dying in the Spine of Deathwing and Madness of Deathwing encounters.
Caden Reigns Dec 10th 2011 12:21PM
i dont think hes torching anymore, but you get the achieve if you die to spine of deathwing or madness of deathwing in the dragonsoul raid
Snark Dec 10th 2011 12:21PM
Get killed by Deathwing in the raid and you'll get the achievement.
bandwee Dec 10th 2011 12:22PM
Run the Fall of Deathwing. If you die in either of the last 2 encounters, it qualifies for Stood in the Fire.
ugoticedbro Dec 10th 2011 12:23PM
Go do the raid finder. You will most likely wipe on deathwing at least once. You get the achievement there.
llcjay2003 Dec 10th 2011 1:21PM
I saw a guildie get torched in Tanaris 2 days ago. So yes, he is still rampaging, apparently.
Angus Dec 10th 2011 2:23PM
Oh hey, in case no one answered: you can get it if you die in the raid on Deathwing.
Blackfish Dec 10th 2011 7:44PM
Why won't anyone answer this poor fella's question? Whether he's torching zones or not, you can get the cheev by dying in either of the last 2 fights in Dragon Soul. Now was that so hard? Sheesh.
Tbah Dec 11th 2011 12:24PM
I also saw of ppl getting the achi in the new raid, any difficulty, when they die in either of the last two encounters.
walker.kyle13 Dec 10th 2011 12:09PM
Or any one who has read doctor strange comics
Ullaana Dec 10th 2011 12:22PM
Or anyone else who is a Robert A. Howard fan, especially his stories about Kull. Howard created the character, and the story was published, finally, in 1967.
Ullaana Dec 10th 2011 12:51PM
I should learn to read what I'm typing, sheesh. That should be Robert E. Howard, duh.
cloudhopper013 Dec 10th 2011 12:24PM
Anybody else notice that they revised the Chuck Norris commercial to show him, not beating a up a gnome (likely due to that being a very un-impressive feat), but instead PUNCHING a WHALE SHARK in the FACE? TWICE? UNDERWATER?
I think that made the commercial a lot more awesome and less facepalm-worthy.
Priestess Dec 10th 2011 1:11PM
I hadn't noticed, but I find you are right! I love the change, much funnier IMO.
