The Queue: Kickball

I helped a friend celebrate the end of his kickball season tonight. He's 29.
Thundrcrackr asked:
How is Dragon Soul split up for the raid finder? Which bosses and in which order? I haven't had a chance to run it myself yet and haven't been able to find this info on wowhead yet.
It's split right down the middle. Siege of Wyrmrest includes Morchok, Zon'ozz, Yor'sahj, and Hagara. Fall of Deathwing includes Ultraxion, Warmaster Blackhorn, Spine of Deathwing, and Madness of Deathwing.
Bragaulicious asked:
All the talk regarding the Paragon cheat has me confused b/c there is talking about receiving loot from a boss more than once per lockout.
As I understood it, it doesn't matter if I receive loot or not. I'm only eligible for loot on the first kill, is that correct? For example, on that first LFR kill all that drops is intel gear and I can't roll on any of it. I'm still ineligible for loot for the remainder of the raid lockout.
Otherwise, if I don't get loot that first time, can I queue up again and still be eligible?
You're correct in that you only get to see loot once per boss per week. Paragon (and other guilds) were exploiting a Raid Finder bug that allowed them to receive loot more than once per week per boss.
Gen Man asked:
I have four 85's and have yet to even attempt any of the Cataclysm dungeons (I know, shame on me). Are they easy to just hop into or should I be doing extensive research first? I don't want to drag a group down by being a dead space chicken.
Normal Cataclysm dungeons are quite easy, especially with the advent of Dungeon Journal. You'll be fine.
alex-rogers asked:
What are the names of the big mouths that are around Wyrmrest Temple which we fight Warlord Zon'ozz and Yor'sahj the Unsleeping and Kill in Twilight High lands?
The ones around Wyrmrest are named Shu'ma and Go'rath, two names that should be awfully familiar to anyone playing Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

Here's a question that I've been dieing to know about since Wrath;
First off, let me say I've been RPing on various servers since... well, since I found out that RPPVP servers have no RP... which was during vanilla. Second, my main character is a mage and her story has circulated around an on-off relationship with the mages of the Kirin Tor.
As a result, I've always wanted a title for my character to go along with my affiliation... but there are none. I found it very odd when Wrath was released that the Kirin Tor did not get one, while the Argent Crusade and the Cenarion Circle did. By that, I mean you got a title for being exalted with a current faction and an old faction; Argent Champion for Argent Crusade and Argent Dawn, and Guardian of Cenarius for being exalted with the Cenarion Expedition and the Cenarion Circle. Why isn't there a title for being exalted with the Kirin Tor and the Violet Eye? It fits the archetype of the other two perfectly.

Q4tQ: Has Blizz mentioned if we will get new BGs or a Tol Barad like PvP Zone for MoP? And if they have, is there any info on what they will be like (zones, themes, objectives, ect.)?
Noyou Dec 10th 2011 10:56PM
No. Hopefully we will hear about that by beta at the latest. I don't think Tol Barad was available right away (in Beta) but we got maps and details about it.
ziggler Dec 11th 2011 6:49AM
They mentioned 3 or 4 new bg's iirc

Three new battlegrounds and a new arena were discussed at Blizzcon.
Azshara Crater - Set in Azshara. Defense of the Ancients style gameplay.
Stranglethorn Diamond Mines - Set in the mines beneath Stranglethorn. Payload style gameplay where you escort mine carts down various tracks to depots in order to gather resources.
Valley of Power - Set in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms in Pandaria. Murderball style gameplay where you have to hold onto an object for as long as possible.
Tol'vir Proving Grounds - Simple arena in Uldum without any gimmicks, based on Nagrand Arena.
No specific Tol Barad style PVP zones, instead they want to have PVP objectives in multiple zones to encourage world PVP, and battles between the two faction hubs in Pandaria. They also want to incentivize killing faction leaders, one suggestion being that participants would have their conquest cap raised for the rest of the week.

to clarify, the guilds found an exploit whereby if everyone in a group passed on loot, anyone could take the passed loot off of the boss even if they had already done that boss. they had said they were doing individual RDF runs for each member anyway using their alts, and that when they saw others exploiting they followed suit. stupid decision in my eyes, but whatever.

I'm a priest and I noticed when I put on Levitate now since the patch, my feet no longer move. I just hover even when moving forward. Is this a bug or 'working as intended'? I think I kinda like it.
Philster043 Dec 11th 2011 3:09AM
No it's not a bug, apparently. I like "hovering" when on ground, it gives me a "godly" feeling, but I do miss "water-running."
By the way, something I found out while using Levitate earlier today at the Darkmoon Faire. If you go in the cannon while you have Levitate on, you will get shot all the way out to the ocean and be hit with Fatigue unless you get back to the island ASAP. That was a memorable "wtf" moment for me.
Suzaku Dec 11th 2011 1:33PM
It's not a bug. They just need to add a few more animations, since remaining perfectly vertical looks off.
You need to lean in whichever direction you're moving.

Hmmm, not many comments on this Queue so far! That's odd.
I wonder if there will be any "bad Pandaren" in Mists of Pandaria - traitors, servants of the Old Gods, etc. So far they all seem kind of "good-natured."
Helper Dec 11th 2011 7:24AM
I think it's important to have "bad Pandaren" because otherwise it's not believable. No group of people is totally good or totally bad. I love that each race in WoW has hero and villain representatives.
I can easily see a super xenophobic group of Pandaren that start attacking the outsiders and go all terrorist on the Horde and Alliance. Maybe a dungeon in a later patch? I'm excited to punch Pandaren in the face!
Suzaku Dec 11th 2011 1:39PM
There's concept art of a Sha-Brethern, which is a pandaren possessed by Sha.
The Pandaren of the Wandering Isle are more adventurous and join the Horde or Alliance.
The Pandaren on Pandaria are divided into four different clans, the Red Crane clan, Black Ox clan, White Tiger clan, and Jade Serpent clan. Each has a different personality (IE, White Tiger is made up of militant soldiers).
There's also a secret clan called the Shado-Pan that aren't actually bad, but are on the opposite side we're on. They're trying to keep the Sha under control, while the Horde/Alliance war is causing the Sha to spread.

Question 1. Is Anne Stickney a Naaru?
Question 2. I rolled a Tauren for the first time this week and was exploring Thunder Bluff. I went into the Pools of Vision and found it swarming with Forsaken. What's up with that? It's really creepy to be in the nature-loving Tauren Town and suddenly find some sacred visionary place over run with the walking dead. I get shunting them to the side but why the Pools of Vision? That seems like too important a place to let Forsaken take over.
VioletArrows Dec 11th 2011 12:28PM
For a while the Tauren and Forsaken were interested in researching a cure for the 'unliving' part of their condition and trying to bring them back to the regular living. It never went anywhere. As for why the Pools of Vision, I take it you've noticed that the undead don't like fresh air and sunlight much? That's pretty much the only place in the entire city (or the rest of the zone) that doesn't have those things.
That and they're breadcrumbs left over from Vanilla for getting players to Eastern Kingdoms.
Suzaku Dec 11th 2011 1:42PM
The tauren and the Earthen Ring actually fought for the Forsaken to be allowed into the Horde, and sought to research a cure for their undeath. It's a plotline that hasn't really been followed up on.
