Around Azeroth: Haterade

As longtime readers may now, on some Sundays we like to expand the scope of Around Azeroth a bit. And although this picture doesn't show off any technical brilliance or beautiful scenery, it did make me laugh. Alizabal: She hates you, and you hate her too! You have to wonder, if Baradin Hold was a prison, why did they let one of its most dangerous prisoners hold onto her six enormous swords? Or did they have them in storage for when she got out? (Thanks to Venoxum of Elegant Nightmares on Icecrown [US-A] for this demotivational poster!)

She is now my guilds favorite boss. We have someone in the guild who hates everything (or, at least, he says he does). This boss was made for him. It is wonderful.

While I haven't fought Alizabal, I have a feeling she's an homage to Francis from L4D. Francis is known to hate everything, one of the things he doesn't hate are vests. His line, from the very few things he doesn't hate, is "I didn't hate that."

When they did the L4D/L4D2 crossover patch, they used the hate thing as the joke.

Every prison in every RPG ever does this. You break out, and right around the corner you can always, ALWAYS, find all your gear.

I'm not even kidding, when I first ran this boss the first thing I heard her say was "I HATE vegetables!" I still don't know how I heard it that way, but I asked the raid if anyone heard that too, and they just said "Well, she probably does... She hates a LOT."
