I was almost overjoyed (okay, maybe that's a really bad way to describe it...) when I thought I heard the other half of this story:

But since some of the details differ, I guess it's not the exact same situation. Still, it's kind of interesting to imagine that's how the situation collides - and the funny thing is, the advice are given from two totally different perspective with different justification but essentially resolves the problem in the same way to both side's benefit...
