Yeah this article needs a little more to it besides a wall of text. Link to some talent builds? Rotation tips? Addons for keeping track of dots, etc. Warlock DPS is very fun but far more complex than just DoTing. The other Cata Leveling Guides took us through each spec, showing strengths and weaknesses. This one feels rushed, assumes too strongly that new players know what you're talking about.

But I digress, gearing in the 35-50 range has been hell for me on my Lock. Had a resto shaman win cloth int/crit gloves from me, citing some skill that gives critical heals an armor buff. Then I had a bear-tank ninja a caster belt from me and drop group. Maybe it's cause I'm a Warlock but I seem to attract the worst ninjas. Maybe it's less about the players, and more the fact that 10-58 anyone can roll on anything, and the itemization is bad.

I think it would be great if blizz added a roll appeal to dungeons, where instead of vote-kicking a ninja and losing the item, the group can vote to give the item to the player who actually needs it. Oh well. I'll be out of there in no time anyway.
