Laissez faire
I think others here have already explained it well enough, but I'll just confirm that we don't want to interfere with prices on the Auction House. Players are free to attempt to sell items at the price they feel it is worth :-)
Looking For Raid-Need Plus Updates
As a part of the on-going evaluation of Looking For Raid and the loot system, we have recently implemented a change to the Looking For Raid Need Plus system. Weapons, trinkets, rings, neck pieces, shields, offhand items, and the Robe of Glowing Stone are now class-restricted to their intended users. With the speed at which a Raid Finder group moves through a zone, we've found that it makes it challenging for players to evaluate loot decisions – by class restricting these items, we hope that the natural behavior will have a more positive set of results for everyone involved. This change will not apply to normal or heroic raid or dungeon loot rules.
Raid Finder and Need Plus are both very new systems, and we're working to iterate on these systems rapidly to ensure that everyone has the best possible experience as we learn more about how players are using the system. Please keep in mind that this system is not considered complete and we have further plans to improve upon it within Mists of Pandaria.
If you looted an item from Looking for Raid which replaced another and you need Game Master assistance to recover your old item, please place a petition with the new item name, that you can no longer use it - and the old item name you need restored. For more information on the affected items, please visit the Customer Support forums here- http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/3729953854#1

Only if you are a pally tank and need on everything.

I'm glad to see Blizz doing this. My husband did LFR Deathwing and we watched as a Prot warrior walked away with the AGI Polearm and AGI 1h Axe. Safe to say the Hunters and Druids were pissed for losing the polearm and the Rogues and Enhance shammys pissed for losing the Axe.
If the game didn't have such idiot players like this warrior that needed on gear they shouldn't be using, we wouldn't NEED a function such as this!
It's the old saying toward Hunters: Just because you can use it, doesn't mean you should!
(and I'm a hunter myself x3)

Dekota, I don't think that the game is filled with idiot players when it comes to LFR. I think it's filled with a bunch of greedy little bitches and griefers of the highest echelon. When an elemental shaman rolls need on a 2H axe, wins it, and immediately leaves, there was nothing but malicious intent on that player's part, they didn't just forget that it's not BC any more. Or when that fucking rogue rolled need on the DW bow that has no secondary stats and an unusable proc for them.

The LFR loot changes don't go far enough and won't be right until they incorporate spec.
To wit: last night I lost out on Ring of Riven (http://www.wowhead.com/item=78427)
to a Feral Druid.

i agree they need to make rolls spec specific. losing agility trinkets and 2H weapons to boomkins or restos is really annoying... there are enough hunters/rogues/ferals in these groups (yes and an occasional enhance shammy) that the odds are bad enough, but letting caster druids and shammys roll on physical dps items makes it even worse

i agree with what people are saying but i think blizzard will only deal with this to a small amount and they will wait until MOP is released, then it might be correct.
until then we will see gear going to the wrong people who are able to roll on them.
