The Feast of Winter Veil is a two-and-a-half-week-long, pine-scented, in-game holiday consisting of dwarves, off-brand orc Santas, and unappealing spiced cookies. And who could forget all the gift-giving, murder, comic mischief, getting this close to regionals, and ... please tell me they're not going to make us go back to Outland again. No, seriously. Please. There are space ghosts there.
But enough about the sheer terror of being haunted by the specters of the dead and feeling their cold essences devour your soul -- this is Winter Veil holiday! So what are your plans for the holiday? Are you going to be saving Metzen the Reindeer this year? Or are you going to be all Scrooge-like and let this holiday pass you by?

Trying to herd cats, i.e. my guild, to have a guild photo taken in winter clothes in the snow in front of IF. The nelfs are always complaining that it's too cold. The dwarves are always drunk. The gnomes want to tinker with the camera over the objections of everyone else because we remember how long it took to get the gunpowder stains out of our tabards the last time we let them tinker. The draenei just seem confused about the whole 'photo' thing and the worgen take a look at the boars running around Dun Morogh and think, "food!" or spend 20 minutes trying to talk to the wolves before realizing they aren't kin.
As I've done all the quests, I won't be excited until the 25th when I see just how ugly the ugly sweater is.

I'm gonna work on my vibrato so I can make it to regionals then sectionals then semis then semi-regionals, then regional-semis then national lower zone semis.

My goal is to complete the meta and finally get Long Strange Trip on my Mage...who I barely play any more. Been sitting on it for 3 years now, time to get it done.

I need to do 7 of the holiday achievements for the meta. And they don't look like fun ones. :(
But! once finished, I will only have 3 more holidays to go. If all goes to plan, I shall have my violet proto-drake next summer. :D

Try to finish this one up for "What a long, strange trip it's been" - after this, I have A Fool for Love and For the Children, and I've already done some of each. This is the one holiday I haven't done anything at all on so ... speaking of which, I'm going to get started on that RIGHT NOW. Merry Christmas!

already started on my goals: do more good deeds
last night, i helped a L15 run deadmines cos the queue was 2 hrs long and he already waited 30+min. i was on an L77 mage alt killing time farming herbs in SB. so i just invite to group with him and run it.

Getting my 2nd character into Raid Finder. It'll be my druid, the first char I dinged 85 with, geared to tank heroics and then ditched for my L80 dk.
