It's not the MMO Messiah people wanted it to be -- seriously, it's "just" an MMO version of Dragon Age or, more accurately, Mass Effect -- but it certainly is living up to the promise of being the most credible competition for WoW yet.
The question will be how Bioware does with MMO issues they haven't had to face yet: patching (there are a lot of little polish issues) and additional content, especially at the top end.
If they can beat those two issues -- and plenty of companies have died on those particular hills -- they've got a major hit on their hands. I don't even like Star Wars that much (thanks, Return of the Jedi and prequels!), and I've lost all weekend to the game.
