Instead, it's getting trinkets and gear and pieces of tier for raiders so you're not going into LFR and Dragon Soul unawares and under-geared. Progression, of all things!
And if the guy with the Rag kill doesn't want to go in after the guild gets it again? Well, raiding is aout nine/twenty-four other people. If a Rag kill were required of me every week to go Dragon Soul (Friggut-Moon Guard US)? I'd pop every single Killing Spree to make it happen.

Well, the new 5 mans drop 378's. If you're raiding firelands or non you should be farming 378 gear from those raids. And at this point, T12 set bonuses, while nice, in most cases should be given a backseat to T13.
