Can I just say one thing? It might have been mentioned before, I only had time to scan the article and the comments but it's really important so here goes:

The first boss of Dragon Soul (Morchok) is REALLY easy. Like, stupidly easy. The DPS, tanking and healing requirements are minimal, and it has absolutely no mechanics you haven't seen before. It's simpler than any fight in Firelands, so if you're 6/7 Firelands you should have no problems with Morchok. Do it, get the free 394 gear (no tier, sorry), and it can only help with your Ragnaros attempts.
