In 5 mans, my DI often ends up on the healer as the only caster. In 10 mans, my raid leader chooses - generally the shadow priest when she attends or himself (fire mage). My struggle is in LFR groups. The larger group (my guild only does 10s) plus the chain pulling make it tough. I can see at a glance if there are shadow priests or mages in the group. It takes a little more time to figure out if the mages are fire vs arcane. My approach has been to pick one randomly for the initial boss, then review my meter while flying on the drake to figure out which is best. If I've got more than one of the "best" class/spec, I choose the higher on DPS figuring I'll benefit more.Does anyone have a better approach for making a quick decision in LFR?
