Grats to them but I'm sure the extra lockouts had nothing to do with it... double the amount of gear in less time? =/It's still a hard fight and they are still awesome for doing it, but i'm a little irked by that.

They did NOT have extra lockouts. That only applied to Firelands, not Dragon Soul.Just being clear. :)

Indeed. Even if they only had two lockouts per week for Firelands, that still meant a lot more heroic Firelands gear for all their raiders, and a lot more legendaries for their casters.

KIN has fewer legendaries in this kill than Blood Legion has access to (19).While you may have a point about Heroic FL gear, this guild also got the World 10th H Ragnaros kill. They've had plenty of time to gear up either way.Point is, stop trying to find ways to delegitimize the kill and just congratulate the team that won the race.

"I'm sure the extra lockouts had nothing to do with it... double the amount of gear in less time? =/"No.Yes they had the "extra lockouts" but that didnt enable them to aquire extra loot. This is because they accessed the content later. You can visit there amories for kill numbers and compare them to other top guilds such as Paragon, Blood Legion etc. Also, even if they got "extra" loot this wouldnt give them an advantage against other top guilds (in regards to legendaries). Top guilds already have every caster equipped with there legendary.(A guild might be able to acquire "40 legendary's" but they can only bring a certain amount to a raid with them, hence it's capped.)

I did congratulate them and apologized (thought I mis-replied to my own thread). I'd been a while since I read that blizzard was changing the lockouts for those countries and they were very vague in the original post about how it was being applied. I had, incorrectly, assumed that it was for all the lock outs, including DS.
