Gratz to them on the achievement, but i can not help but wonder if they got some GM help for this. Not to say I do not like new guilds getting world firsts but in the image they submitted, One member was in GM gear, is a gnome and does not have their guild name.
It makes it a bit suspicious. Did they use the GM to help get the kill or is the GM there just to confirm the kill?

Really? Do you *honestly* believe that Blizzard, who know they have a leaking fanbase and have been working to keep players happy, would allow one of their employees to help a guild cheat their way to a first kill, which is EXACTLY what they banned scores of accounts for just a few weeks ago?

GMs regularly sit in on potential world first kills.

Loop, you mean that for the past few weeks most of the high-end raiders have had GMs just sitting there, watching them as they attempt and fail at killing heroic bosses? How does Blizz have the manpower for that?

Blizzard can spare a GM or two on the first Heroic kills of the last boss in order to inspect if the fight's working correctly (since it's not tested, for obvious reasons). Paragon's world first Sinestra was hot-fixed midraid, so they had to constantly adjust strategies when things about the fight suddenly changed on the next attempt.

@Andrew
It's typically not that much manpower, acutally. How many guilds have even killed Spine on Heroic? Just two. So there's only two guilds that could even be attempting Heroic Madness. That would only take 2 GMs. Or if they want 24 hour "coverage" then 3 GMs for each guild, so 6 GMs total.
Other world first races have had more competition, like Ragnaros, but the numbers of guilds in the race is always fairly small, so it's not much manpower to watch 'em all.

It's one of those "damned if they do, damned if they don't". I suspect the Gnome GM in question had her picture taken with them to confirm to those naysayers in the West (ie. patrons of MMO Champs, WoW Forums and other sore losers) that KIN indeed down'd this phase without cheating. But this has obviously spun it's own bizarre and isane (and inane) conspiracy theories and controversies...
...get over it folks, KIN won. They beat the Europeans. They beat the Americans. Hands down and with flying colors. Time to move on. /shrug

GM's showed up on the damage meters during Paragon's Sinestra progression (Damage taken, not damage done) and a former guildie of mine actually spoke to a GM who was sitting and watching his guild progress Ragnaros during Vanilla. "Don't mind me!"
