But isn't Illidan the one with the Arrogance mistaken for Confidence?Malfurion is something else, more of a "Hollistic Anarchist", mistaken for Confidence. He cares very little for powers and politics, and even most normal relationships (Other than Tyrande). It's seems that Tyrande has a streak of this herself (as likely most of the previously-immortal NElves may do), as evidenced by her willingness to slay some of the watchers and a keeper to free Illidan, but otherwise doesn't let it trump her responsibilities to her people and her goddess. Maybe part of what draws her to Malfurion is that she recognises the necessity for such drastic actions, but as she cannot often do them herself, she admires Malfurions wild abandon, while also potentially providing a foil for him when he needs it (note their initial disagreement with working with the horde and alliance forces in WC3)
