I think one of the issues with any female heroine in WoW is that Blizzard doesn't know what to do with them. Unless they are possessed by vengence, they're simply there to attract women to play the game and provide a love interest for the real heroes, the men. When I look at the powerful stories behind Kerrigan, Sylvanas and Maiev I realize they are all possessed by a singular need for vengeance for the ones who led them to their current troubles. Once those troubles are vanquished, the backbone vanishes. I can't speak for Kerrigan's post-swarm expansion, but look at Sylvanas, who is basically pleading for Garrosh's approval in Silverpine, and emotionally upset when he denies it, and Maiev, who clearly states she has nothing to live for once Illidan is dead. You also have prime examples of women "heroines" in WoW and its lore. Jaina, during the middle of all the scourge disaster she was brave enough to pick up her people and go--and ally with the enemy in a strange land, make new alliances, and stand as a lone Alliance bulwark against the Horde. She even stands up against her father. Now, she weeps because someone does something nice. Or someone dies. Lord above, the woman exiled her people. Her people died. I'm sure she didn't stop to cry every time someone keeled over. After everything she's been through, she should have a stronger spine. But no -- Blizzard's writers have shoehorned her in to being Varian's sidekick and, just watch, eventual love interest.Tyrande is another vicious example of a woman with "balls" getting neutered. She was strong, brave, and amazing all through WC3. Now, she clings to Malfurion. "Oh my, save the day my love!" And as it's said -- she needs to look at situations like Leyara's and avenge them, not merely meekly follow her husband, falling silent when commanded.I'm surprised her new model has shoes, considering Malf keeps her barefoot in the kitchen.Let's not get started on her story, which was her moping over a pretty flower and waiting for Malf to join her in rescuing a friend. Because, you know, she couldn't do it on her own.:/

tl;dr - they need to get the warcraft 3 lore people back into wow because WC3 lore greater than wow lore.
