You know, given that the Horde could very well fall into civil war (Forsaken VS Orcs), I think this would be a great opportunity for the Alliance to have a similar thing. Take those who want to slaughter orcs (Varian, Tyrande) and pit them against those who want peace more (Jaina, Malfurion) and you could have some great Alliance lore forming there.
There are so many opportunities in Azeroth for a great story, and Blizz so rarely follows up on them. The Wrathgate was pretty much the pinnacle of Azerothian lore, and though a few good things have come since it's mostly flat. So much potential, so *wasted*.

The Horde's never going to fall apart. Blizzard simply don't have the stones to one day state "right, nobody can create any new Forsaken characters, and all your Undercity rep is now worthless. It's *on* now."

It's not about the Horde falling apart, it doesn't need to fall apart. But boy, would it be good to see some good ol' hair-pulling, biting and in-fighting going on.

Fer serious. I called the possibility of a Horde civil war at the beginning of Cataclysm and I stand by my assessment of the situation: internally, the Horde is a powder keg of roiling social tension looking for a spark. Garrosh Hellscream's blatant orc supremecist attitude and flagrant disrespect for his allies should, if there are any descent writers on board, lead to a massive explosion, and pretty damn soon.
