My main beef with Tyrande is that she freed Illidan without seeming to consider the consequences of her actions, and killed some of her own in the process. And her motivation in the end for doing this was that Malfurion told her not to.All well and good that she wants to be independent (though this seems rare in light of the article), but given Illidan's tendencies - why they locked him up in the first place - and what prodded her to release him, it just makes her look rash and naive.Otherwise love the potential of her character, but this really tainted it for me.
