While it is true that Tyrande is a good leader, you basically ignore Malfurion's true role in all of this: Making sure that there IS an Azeroth for the Alliance and the Horde to battle over!
Malfurion is not truly neutral. He does care. He cares about the world. His "adventures in the Emerald Dream" were not fun and kicks: he was trying to save the world!
The author of this article clearly does not know his WoW lore. Malfurion Stormrage sees the BIGGER PICTURE. He is NOT locked down by petty, insignificant squabbles between the Horde and the Alliance because he is fighting the bigger battle.
Tyrande Whisperwind: a good leader for the Alliance.
Malfurion Stormrage: savior of all of Azeroth, both for the Alliance and the Horde.
Deal with it, haters.
