Now THAT is the story of the Sunwell, not that romantic crap with Kalegos and Adeena. I like to pretend that the Sunwell Trilogy manga never happened. Thank you for not mentioning Adeena; the self-aware avatar of the Sunwell's magical energy is such lolore to me.
An another note, I wish Lady Liadrin was the leader of the blood elves. Lor'themar is such a flat character. But I suppose that not being the leader means that she has more freedom to take action outside of Silvermoon, and that she's not a target of For the Alliance raids. ;)

Oh seconded. I've never regretted purchasing a book before but O-M-G those were CRAP! And had nothing at all to do with Blood Elves, which had been my whole point in purchasing the thing. Ugh.
Lor'themar...hasn't really been allowed to do *ANYTHING* and I think there in lies the problem. He has done exactly zero after Kael'thas's fall, and it would be awesome if there were at least some controversy or something. I've been dying for his Leader story since the series started, and still no luck >.>. Sooner or later its coming, right? Right?

I believe that Lor'themar Theron's leader story is actually "In the Shadow of the Sun."

I'd be okay with that. I read that story for the contest so I'd know about what Blizzard wanted (for all the good that did me :P) and it was a really excellent story with much understated but powerful for it. I'm hoping they don't leave me with just that, though.

Lor'themar is a flat character because he's forced to remain so for the moment (hopefully "the moment" doesn't last much longer). It sucks but it's true. "We're all at the mercy of Sylvanas and the Forsaken!!" Seriously?! Come now, Lor'themar... I was really hoping for a Cataclysm update for him and the blood elves. I'm interested to see what the Reliquary has in store, though. But perhaps the way Sylvanas is shaking out will force Lor'themar (and the rest of the blood elf people, Liadrin especially) to make a move of some sort.
