Yeah, thanks to Dawn's article, I've taken to using the lightwell more often in the last three months - and nobody ever uses it. It's gotten to the point where I just use it for myself now. As a sometimes tank and sometimes dps I can see why they'd just fail to use it though. They're so focused on either standing their ground or dealing out damage that the lightwell just isn't on their radar.I've gotten to the point where I think the lightwell needs to be revamped to offer something that nobody in the group would expect the priest to do himself. For example, giving an effect that would keep them "safe" from all damage for maybe 5 seconds - a sort of "sanctuary" bubble. Either that or it would offer them a greater HoT.That way they could avoid tremendous AoE damage if 1) they see that their health is low and they're not sure that the priest will get to them in time to heal them back up in time for the AoE blastwave and 2) they see that they're out of the priest's range but they're in the lightwell's range, which could be useful in certain scenarios. The only catch: they have to not be affected by "Weakened Spirit" at the time they want to use the Lightwell, using the Lightwell would give them an extended period of "Weakened Spirit," and of course there would be a limited amount of uses.Whoa, I dunno why I dived right into that subject, I guess I should have saved it for a more relevant article. Also, that LK with the lightwell picture is hilarious. =)
